Digital Standards
- dignity
The State of Michigan's Digital Standards for Websites and Applications define the baseline requirements all state departments and agencies must meet โ covering state-built sites and apps, custom mobile applications, and vendor-supplied software. Version 2.0 adopted WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the state's accessibility standard, with a compliance deadline tied to federal enforcement. The standards are administered by the Department of Technology, Management and Budget and support the broader One State, One Brand initiative to ensure that Michigan's 38 million monthly website users experience consistent, trustworthy interactions across every agency. I contributed experience design and implementation work that informed and aligned with these standards.
