The Intentional Conversation Database is MDARD's internal HR tool for tracking structured performance conversations between supervisors and employees — capturing check-ins, goal reviews, policy adherence discussions, and pay-period documentation. The legacy system was built on aging infrastructure with mounting maintenance costs. The modernization effort rebuilds it on a more sustainable, lower-cost architecture while updating the experience to align with state UX and accessibility standards, and improving the workflows supervisors rely on throughout the performance review cycle.
